A Day at Bicester Village
There is nothing better then spending a whole day at Bicester Village, the shopping outlet village 50 mins away by train from Marylebone station in London which has over 160 boutiques from the world’s leading designers.
It would be criminal NOT to go, frankly!
I went the other day and thought I would share some cool pieces that I found and show you around the village. This is not a paid collaboration, I just really love Bicester’s shopping experience.
The train arrives at Bicester Train Station and it’s like no other with their VIP welcoming team and a buggy picking you up and dropping you off at the Village entrance.
The Apartment
Wondering why they call their VIP Lounge “The Apartment”? Because you could literally spend your entire day shopping at Bicester, so you’ll need a pied-a-terre close by for indulgent relaxation.
Offering complimentary beverages, you can lounge all day in their perfectly curated interiors and even get access to VIP discounts at the stores themselves. The Apartment also allows you to leave your bags in each shop and the retailer will drop it off at The Apartment.
Hands-free shopping? The dream !
After having bought three pairs of jeans from Donna Ida Denim, who did a popup sale that day at The Apartment, I went off to stroll around in the Village.
The Shops at Bicester
I started at the (massive) Ralph Lauren store where I found really great discounted plain t-shirts, and a military jacket. I like to wear under coats or alone.
The Gucci shop is huge and has the most stunning pieces. I got this really cute lady bug shirt for such a bargain.
Couldn’t resist a stop at Balenciaga for a pair of sneakers. They are so comfortable and seriously worth the discount. Why do I even shop in London...?
Balenciaga navy blue sneakers and my milk-coloured Donna Ida Denim jumpsuit.
There are so many amazing luxurious brands but you can also shop at The White Company and Le Creuset if you fancy something for your home or kitchen.
Acne, Prada, Boss, Vivianne Westwood, Chloe, Brooks Brothers... you name it. I stayed a while at Missoni and left with this cute headband for the summer.
There are several restaurants and cute little places to grab a bite.
I went to the Wolseley for a Niçoise salad to get a break and it was delicious.
Overall an absolutely brilliant day at Bicester Village, which happens to be the second most touristic site visited in the UK - after Buckingham Palace. Can’t wait to go back.
