Isn’t it fabulous that headbands are a total hit this season ? I mean, not only are they lots of fun but hey, they do come in handy on a bad hair day! I am especially thrilled with this trend as I need to get used to being a brunette after being blonde for so long… and that is sometimes quite a challenge.

So here we go! Grab a headband and have fun with it. I think the last time I wore a headband was in 1989 from Alexandre de Paris but today I find there is much more fun choice.

It looks great with a pony tail when your hair is desperately needing a wash, or placed elegantly when you have one of those fresh blow-dries. I will say that it’s not easy to find the ones that don’t give a head pressure so I tend to stay a little in the shop and wait to see if it hurts or not.

I searched online and went around London to shop for a variety of them. I feel like they’re not the easiest to match with outfits, so you really need at least a few in your wardrobe. I wear the cotton ones at the beach and with summery outfits, and I found some more elegant ones to wear to business meetings or in the evening to take my outfit up a notch.

Pearl , crystals or embroidery is so chic for the evening and dresses any outfit up immediately so there we go.
